Volunteering not only helps the chapter, but it helps you build your professional network, become known, develop project management and leadership skills, enhance your resume, earn PDUs, and more.  Best of all, it’s fun!

Call for Volunteers

Volunteering with the Chapter engages you in the Luxembourg project management community and enables you to network with other project managers. Also, if you are PMP-certified, you can earn valuable PDUs to help maintain your certification.

Professional Development Leader

Description

Working with the Chapter board, Events team, and Communications & Marketing team, the Professional Development Leader identifies learning needs, proposes topics and formats, supports instructor/speaker sourcing, and helps ensure a consistent participant experience from planning through delivery and follow-up. The role also builds and maintains relationships with Registered Education Providers (R.E.P.s) and other learning partners and coordinating opportunities for collaboration.

 

This position is well suited to a project professional with strong planning and stakeholder management skills, experience in learning/program development, and the ability to translate member needs into a clear, value-focused development portfolio. The role offers the chance to shape and continuously improve the Chapter’s learning ecosystem, expand partnerships, and deliver impactful programs that support professional growth and project success.

Associate Director of Events

Description

The Associate Director of Events helps identify timely topics and speakers aligned with PMI priorities and local member needs, supports event logistics (venue/platform coordination, agendas, registration readiness, run-of-show, and on-the-day facilitation support), and contributes to continuous improvement through participant feedback and basic event performance tracking. The role also collaborates with Director of Marketing and Communication to ensure events are promoted effectively and information is accurate and delivered on time.

 

This position is well-suited for a project professional who is organized, collaborative, and service-minded, with strong communication skills and an interest in community building. Experience with event coordination, stakeholder management, and basic digital tools (e.g., webinar platforms and registration systems) is beneficial. The role provides a meaningful opportunity to expand leadership capability, grow a professional network, and contribute to value-focused events that strengthen the Chapter’s impact.
