Dear member of the Project Management Community in Luxembourg,

I hope this message finds you well and safe and you are getting through the difficult situation of confinement.

The PMI Luxembourg Chapter Board of Directors and I have had to adapt on personal, professional and practical levels to the new reality as well, and to be truthful, the adaptations happening inside our home have taken time away from our capacity to serve the Chapter. We have since found some new normal and are now actively working on ways to engage with you in different ways than before.

Today, I want to give you some good news and outlook on what to expect from your PM community in the coming weeks and months as we will continue to be here to support you.

Imagine finishing all your projects on time or ahead of time. Imagine that you can manage your projects twice as fast and doubling the number of projects you do today in the same timeframe. Wouldn't that be nice? This sounds like a project miracle, but actually, it is what speaker Philip MARRIS, CEO of Marris Consulting and Critical Chain expert, discussed with the PMI Chapter members at the sold-out event hosted at the PMI Luxembourg Chapter’s first gold sponsor, Microsoft, in their funky premises in Clausen.

After the success of the first survey about the level of adoption of Agile by companies in Luxembourg in 2017, the Project Management Institute (PMI) Luxembourg Chapter and PwC Luxembourg joined forces once again for a second research edition this year. The results of the 2019 survey, uncovering the extent of Agile adoption by Luxembourg’s multi-cultural companies today, as well as in Croatia and Poland for comparison reasons, were presented in an event that gathered close to 100 diverse participants representing most of the sectors of the country’s business mosaic.

Nearly one year has passed since GDPR has been part of our digital lives, and so many things have already changed as its direct or indirect results. What is the current level of maturity though? How are customers, professionals and industries facing the challenges derived by the regulation?

On Tuesday 30 April 2019, the Project Management Institute (PMI) Luxembourg Chapter organised an event dedicated to GDPR, in collaboration with EY Luxembourg.
