1st February 2012 - The New Agile Generation in Project Management

PMI Luxembourg is pleased to invite you to attend our event on The 1st February 2012 the University Campus in Limpertsberg.


Every year, the students of the Master in Information and Computer Sciences, of the University of Luxembourg, research the field of Project Management and explore current trends. This year the students will share with us their findings on agile methods, crunch-time in projects, and how to apply different criteria to select project management software tools.

 

1. Masoud Tabatabaei, Richard Foersom, Eric Tobias, Students of the Computer Science Maste. The title of their presentation is “Crunch Time in Project Management”. The Students will talk about their findings on the Crunch Time phenomena, what causes it, and how to manage it.

2. Mike de Dood, Remus Dobrican, Azemina Husovic, Walter Bronzi, Students of the Computer Science Master. The title of their presentation is “Free vs Commercial Project Management Software”. The Students will talk about their findings on how to select the best-fitting project management tool using a selection criteria and a project scenario.

3. Blanca Gómez Andrades, Paul Bicheler, Carlos Palacin Rubio, Students of the Computer Science Master. The title of their presentation is “Scrum-ban, scenario to learn it for IT projects”. The Students will present their learning tool to introduce the Scrum-ban method in IT project teams.

4. Vaishnavi Rajendran, Avikarsha Mandal, Jérôme Wagener, Sam David Christophe Schmit Van Werweke, Students of the Computer Science Master.The title of their hands-on presentation is “Kanban, another game”. The Students will introduce you to a new game, developed by them, to learn the principles of Kanban. Event attendants will be invited to participate too!
