Accra Flooding Initiative
Accra is the capital of Ghana. Every year it has tremendous problems with flooding during the rainy season. The floods bring chaos to the city. There are many casualties, and known solutions are not implemented. Project Managers Without Borders, with the support of several PMI chapters are organising a series of workshops to contribute to a durable solution.
The sessions are led by seasoned facilitators, and the necessary introductions and briefings are provided at the start of the session.
If you have knowledge in the area of flooding, surface water handling, working in a sub-saharian country, working in government environment, or just common project management skills, then we need you to participate, and help build a true solution for the Ghana people.
Presented and organised by PMI Lux and PMWB, represented by Kris Troukens, Director at Large with PMWB. He is running the ACCRA-Flooding-Initiative. This involves coordinating workshops and initiatives around the globe with a team of virtual volunteers.
Kris has been involved with PMI for more than 15 years in various positions around Europe.
